We, the undersigned, represent a vast cross section of companies that do business, employ workers, and serve customers throughout the United States. We recognize that our ability to operate and create jobs and economic growth would not be possible without the foundation of a strong and vibrant American democracy. We believe that every American has a constitutional right to vote, and that they should be able to vote freely, safely, and equally. We understand and acknowledge that a well-functioning democracy is good for America and good for business.

We are deeply concerned by the almost 400 anti-voter bills that have been considered by lawmakers across 39 states for the 2022 legislative session. These bills most often introduce policies that restrict early voting and vote by mail, and infuse partisanship into the typically nonpartisan process of counting votes and certifying elections.

These bills would disproportionately impact low-income people and voters of color. These bills are deeply unpopular with the American people and are out of step with our values as a company.

We, the undersigned, staunchly oppose any bill, at the Federal, state, or local level, that would:

• Curtail Americans’ ability to vote early

• Limit the ability to vote by mail

• Limit voters’ ability to register to vote online and/or in-person on Election Day

• Restrict accommodations for voters with disabilities

• Unnecessarily purge voters from existing voting rolls

In partnership with Vote.org, we will commit to monitoring the almost 400 bills across the country and the legislators that choose to support them. We call for public leaders to abandon or oppose efforts to enact this type of anti-voting legislation and ensure freedom to vote for all Americans.

Americans have a constitutional right to exercise their vote safely, freely, and without unreasonable barriers. We reject these efforts to make voting more difficult, and we stand with American voters.
